Celebrate Mardi Gras downtown in 2009! Downtown Rehoboth restaurants host Mardi Gras in Februrary featuring New Orleans-inspired cuisine and Cajun cooking, Bourbon Street beverages, Mardi Gras Parties, live music and beads, beads, beads! Each restaurant will help raise money to send down south for our Sister Main Street City of Houma, LA which is still recovering from the Louisiana hurricanes.

Saturday, on Mardi Gras weekend from 4-7p.m. is the Gumbo Cook-Off! Stop by participating restaurants to taste and vote! Ballots are $5. 100% of the proceeds go to the Houma Louisiana Main Street. Look for the annoucement of the date.
The 2008 Mardi Gras Gumbo Cook-off Winners:
First Place: The Purple Parrot Restaurant
Second Place: Cafe Sole
