Chocolate Festival

2013: The 23rd Annual Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.  For more information, see below or contact 302-227-2772.

The baking contest will feature more restaurant entries than ever before!  It's a fabulous day of chocolate, with tastes galore, vendors, a raffle, kids games and much more!

Tastings start at 11:30 am and last until the chocolate runs out or 3:30 pm. Tickets will be pre-sold starting February 15th, 2013 OR purchase tickets at the door: Admission is only $2.00 and you can buy as many tastes as you like for only 50 cents each! Sorry but no carry out is permitted. Children under 5 get in for free. 

For those who desire lunch in between chocolate appetizers and desserts, Main Street will provide All-American hot dogs and drinks.

Baking Contest
At the heart of the festival is the chocolate Baking Contest, open to anyone who wants to enter. Download the official baking contest entry form here.

Prizes and ribbons in each category are given for the following sub-categories:
Cookies
Brownies
Pies
Cheesecake
Candy
Cakes
Most Unusual

Prizes include downtown gift certificates, plaques, and ribbons, ribbons, ribbons!   Register for the baking contest on the morning of the festival. Just bring your entries to Convention Hall between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m for judging.
