Rehoboth is an Art Town
Gallery 50 presents new works by Lancaster graphite artist Richard Chandler Hoff, and New York City photographer Phillip Gutman. Opening reception is Saturday July 8, from 6-9:00pm.
Megan Auman Trunk Show Two Days Only Friday, July 8th, 2011, 4-9pm and Saturday, July 9th, 2011, 1-9pm Megan Auman from Jonestown, PA will be in town to debut her new jewelry collection. Auman is a designer, artists and educator. She believes that simplicity + repetition = the best designs. She has designed everything from accessories to home décor, but is currently focusing on her first love, jewelry. Her designs are classic yet distinctive, bold yet comfortable. The jewelry empowers you to make a statement but is easy enough to wear every day. Auman usually works with line, repeated and created from steel and silver. Please join us to meet the artists and check out her new collection. The opening reception happens in conjunction with the “Mosaic Second Saturday Art Walk” from 6-9pm.
On SATURDAY, JULY 9th from 6:00 - 9:00pm, visit the 10 fine art galleries of Mosaic: The Rehoboth Beach Gallery Collective. Each gallery of the collective will offer a reception and a new exhibition. Member galleries represent some of the finest galleries in the mid-Atlantic region. Second Saturday Art Walks are from 2:00 - 5:00 pm from January through April, and from 6:00 - 9:00 pm from May through November. Maps are available at any participating gallery.

JULY 23 - Today Show hosts Hoda Kotb & Kathie Lee Gifford will be at Browseabout Books for a fabulous event! Hoda's book, Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee, is now available in paperback. Kathie Lee has a new book for children called The Legend of Messy M'Cheany, as well as previous works. If you can't make it, you can arrange to have a book signed for you. You must buy one of their books from Browseabout to meet them. Books are available in-store, as well as on their website. Saturday, July 23, 10:00 am until noon.
The Rehoboth Beach Film Society and the City of Rehoboth Beach kick off the sixth year of Cinema by the Surf with a screening of “Nanny McPhee Returns” at dusk on Thursday, July 7, at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand. [2010, UK and USA, Runtime: 109 min, Rated: PG] The film will begin at dusk (8:15 - 8:30 pm) and is free to the public. All ages are welcome. Seats are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
