Nationally-acclaimed artist Sergey Cherep returns to Rehoboth featuring works inspired by the local landscape. A free reception with Sergey will be held Saturday, August 8th from 6 to 9 pm. Also displaying artwork themed around the local Rehoboth Beach Farmer’s Market. Presenting still-life works depicting garden wonders. A portion of the proceeds to benefit the Farmer’s Market.

Gallery 50 is a contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Rehoboth Beach and represents over 30 artists. The gallery hosts shows year round highlighting different artists and also takes part in Mosaic's Second Saturday Art Walks. The gallery also hosts film screenings and book signings and is available for private events. “Swedish Beauty” includes necklaces and pins made from metal, pearls, fabric, and silicone. Agnieszka Knap uses copper, silver, silk, and cultured pearls to make bold statement pieces. Auli Laitinen re-uses men’s ties and other fabric with the addition of silver to create funky necklaces and brooches in order to question the aesthetics of feminity. Using coral, silver, pearls, and textiles, Magdalena Ringels creates from impressions that the world thrusts upon her. Aud Charlotte Ho Sook Sinding creates romantic pieces that remind one of antique jewelry with a rock ‘n’ roll twist. Rehoboth Beach native Lowe also creates her own innovative jewelry line and teaches private lessons on premises. Summer hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11-9 p.m. Friday through Saturday.

Shuttle Service between Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach will start service the first weekend in May.  The shuttle service will operate weekends in May, primarily Friday late afternoon/evenings till 2am and full schedule on Saturdays, 8am till 2am.  The shuttle will operate Daily 8am till 2am, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. This year the shuttle route rates will remain the same; the shuttle service rates have not been increased since 2002.  The Jolly Trolleys have been involved with community service since 1970. CINEMA CABARET PRESENTS DINNER AND A SCREENING OF FRIED GREEN TOMATOES. Rehoboth Beach Film Society and OVATIONS Restaurant & Lounge co-present Cinema Cabaret, a dining and film series. The August 7 event will feature “Fried Green Tomatoes”. Enjoy a southern-style feast of black-eye pea salad, roast pork or blackened catfish with baked potatoes, sweet potato pie, and of course, a side dish of fried green tomatoes. Dinner will be accompanied by a delicious film about friendship and food. Serving begins at 6:30 PM with the film starting after the entrée is served.
